Lucy grew up in the hippie college town of Santa Cruz, California, where her parents introduced her to bluegrass twang and the art of storytelling through folktale. With pattern, texture, and ink - as well as an abundance of vintage inspiration - Lucy crafts vibrant characters based in lighthearted silliness, with a dash of eerie fun.
She graduated from the Pacific Northwest College of Art with a BFA in illustration and has exhibited her work throughout Portland.
You can usually find her rummaging around antique shops, seeking a strange yet charming knick knack, or curled up with her two sleepy cats at home.
